Chinese martial arts, also referred to by the
Mandarin Chinese term wushu and popularly as kung fu are a number of fighting styles that
have developed over the centuries in China. These fighting styles are often classified according to common traits, identified
as "families" (家, jiā), "sects" (派, pài) or "schools" (門, mén)
of martial arts. Examples of such traits include physical exercises involving animal styles, or training methods inspired
by Chinese philosophies, religions and legends.
There are various animal forms (Chinese: 五形; pinyin: wǔ xíng;
literally "Five Forms")—Tiger, Crane, Leopard, Snake, and Dragon. Each animal style has benefits that allow
you offensive and defensive techniques. We could definitely learn from the animals.
